Having taken some photos on a visit to Beaune, Margot drew some sketches of tiny details of the street scenes she captured, purely for her own amusement. I saw some of them and asked whether she would let me use them to mix in with the other images on our web site, as they told a slightly different story to our photographs. She has now contributed several further drawings, not all of which are directly relevant to wine. The series of street lamps is a case in point, yet these are absolutely typical of the streets of both Beaune and Dijon.
